OVCS received an awesome auction donation this week – 4 One-Day Park Hopper FastPass+ Passes to WALT DISNEY WORLD!!! How cool is that?!?!?! These passes, valued at $162.00 per pass, are valid at the WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort in Central Florida and provide admission to a magical experience at each of the unique theme parks: the Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom within one day. Spread the word!!!
Donations are coming in! I have begun to list items, gift certificates and our generous donors under the appropriate tabs on the blog. Check them out! The community as a whole has been very supportive. OVCS is blessed! Keep watch as I plan to update the blog as donations continue to come in. The 10th Annual OVCS Auction is just 3 short months away! The date has been set, location is secured, and we are in full planning mode for this year’s auction! We are excited that the auction will be located at the same venue, Lakeside Community Church, in North Waterboro on Rt. 5. The date is set for Saturday, April 7th. The silent auction and food sale will begin at 2:00 p.m. Live auction starts at 4:00 p.m. We are currently on the hunt for auction-able items. If you have an item, service or gift certificate you would consider donating, please contact Angela Short @ 793-4005. Donating to the auction is a great way to contribute to such a worthy organization as Ossipee Valley Christian School. Every donation is tax deductible as the school is a 501c3 organization. The income generated by the auction helps to support the annual operating budget of the school. Without your generous support and participation, we would not have the revenue to provide the programs our students need. Last year we were able to raise over $17,000.00 for the school – during a snow storm!!! Thank you for your support!
The 9th annual OVCS auction was a great success!!! We are beyond blessed by everyone who came out to support OVCS despite of the snow! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Auctioneer, Rob Troon, graciously donated his time and expertise assisting bidders in reaching an all time high. Thank you to the whole Troon family! Between the silent auction, live auction, food sale & generous donations we raised a grand total of $17,604.00!!!! This is over $4,000.00 more than the record we set last year! God is good!!! This would not have been possible without the support of so many. Thank you to all that came out to support the school by donating, bidding and volunteering. It was a wonderful evening for all involved!
